Bridesmaids Gifts

Brides always have a hard time finding the perfect gift for their bridesmaids.  I saw these and love them. They're simple but nice and your bridesmaids can wear them after the wedding!

Fresh Fridays!

{Navy Pier}

I was in Chicago last week visiting my sister, brother-in-law and the kiddies.  I had such a wonderful time while I was there even if I did get super sick. I didn't mind though...making "spicy cawwots (carrots)" for my nephew and having sleepovers with my niece, watching "The Walking Dead" with my sister and brother-in-law, Chicago was a much much much needed trip!

{Cutie-face nephew who asks me to make "Spicy Cawwots" for him}

{Gorgeous niece who plays the violin and is just all around so amazing}

{We even took a water taxi!}

{Spent some time with Marilyn}

{Took 6,000,000,000 pictures at the "Bean"}

Happy Friday, Gorgeous!

For Me, For You

I've been following the blog For Me, For You for quite some time and recently Kate Miss, {of For Mr, For You} revealed that her boyfriend, Will has been diagnosed with testicular cancer.  He had a tumor removed and has not been able to work since which means that he doesn't have insurance which also means that the medical bills are mounting.

They have set up an Etsy shop full of their artwork that will help with Will's medical bills.  Their work is completely affordable and you'll feel amazing buying it because you'll be helping out such a wonderful couple!

Fresh Fridays - Joan and Jason Edition!

I told you guys about Joan and Jason {here} a little while ago and I've just received some wonderful pictures from their wedding courtesy of A Dream Within Photography.  From the whimsical balloons to guests rocking out on the dance floor, this wedding will go down as one of my favorites. Not only was the actual wedding so much fun, Joan and Jason were truly such a great couple...thank you for allowing me to be a part of your wonderful day!

I pretty much was drooling over her bouquet... Michelle Leyden of Bold American was in charge of the decor and as you can tell, she performed always!

Could the flower girl be ANY cuter?!

The whole night, Joan kept saying/screaming, "I LOVE this!!!! I love all of this!" As a planner, that's one of the best things you can hear especially during the wedding.

The guests broke it DOWN on the dance floor!

Thursday what you do...

"Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do."

"If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on."

- Steve Jobs

Bobby & Fiona - Engagement Love

Yesterday I received the wonderful news that one of my dearest friends, Bobby, was engaged to this gorgeous woman, amazing is it that her name is Fiona?! I love that name. Bobby and Fiona are both photographers so it's no surprise that they took their own engagement pictures.  Bobby is the owner of "Our Favorite Day Photography" and Fiona is a freelance photographer in Australia. On a roadtrip up the California coast, Bobby and Fiona stopped off at random locations, set up the tripod and snapped away.

Bobby is one of the funniest, silliest people that I know so it's so wonderful seeing this sweet side of him.  Well, there are a few silly pictures but it wouldn't be right if there weren't...congrats Bobby and Fiona!
